Michelle's Birthday Carnival

Since my birthday is in the summer time, what better way to celebrate than to have a picnic in beautiful & sunny Oakland?

This year I did a carnival theme, it was so much fun eating carnival food and playing games.

Thank you to everyone who came out, I hope you had a great time too!

This is one of my favorite picture of the picnic.  Here I am with Juan duking it out on the water gun golf game.

Look how much longer Juan's arm is compare to mine.

Cecil, Cindy & Gary are in the background cheering us on.

Thank you Cindy for ditching your class for me!  So glad you made it!

The aftermath.....

Thank you for all who came out, I had a lovely time.

So I went a little overboard with the carnival theme, and got a roll of carnival tickets so every guest can use it to "buy" food.

See the picnic menu above.

To stay within the "carnival" party theme, I made the invitation look like a ticket stub.

We had three games for the party:  water gun golf , baseball throw & duck toss.

Can you believe I made the game booths out of a microwave box?  I also made it collapsible for easy transport.

A special thanks to Sean who was in charge of the BBQ and blowing all the balloons!

We have cotton candy & blueberry pie pop.

Here's Nicole testing out the games.
